Bionote
Ibn al-Khawwām, a mathematician and physician, was one of the of the students of Naṣīr al-Dīn Muḥammad al-Ṭūsī. He authored the book al-Fawāʼid al-Bahāʼīyah fī al-Qawāʼid al-Ḥisābīyah in Shaʿbān 675 AH in Iṣfahān under the name of Bahāʾ al-Dīn Muḥammad ibn Shams al-Dīn Muḥammad Juwaynī (the ruler of Iṣfahān). Kamāl al-Dīn Fārsī was his student who wrote a commentary on his teacher book. Ibn al-Khawwām died in 724 AH in Baghdād.
